Abir Haddad is a legal futurist and comparative lawyer. She is Consultant on Legal Transformation to Resilience Frontiers, a foresight-driven project of the United Nations Climate Change Secretary. She is adjunct Professor at the Institute for international private law at the University of Cologne in Germany where she teaches the modern law of the Arabic countries. She studied law at the University of Tuebingen and did her PhD with summa cum laude at the University of Cologne with research stays in UAE, GB, Bahrain, and Japan. And she is a faculty member of futur/io.
Additionally she co-founded the network of multicultural lawyers, a platform that connects lawyers from different backgrounds. And she also founded the Legal Hackers Cologne/Bonn.
